"An engaging story of two Narnia lovers, Emelia and Peter, as protagonists, set in none other than Lewis's own Oxford. The multiple characters with their faith journeys, accountability partners, and some stumbles along the way, plus…"
"I was also thinking as I read through "The Alliance" of my being in elementary school in Florida during the Cuban Missile Crisis of the early 1960's. We had drills to practice leaving school in groups to be bused to a safe…"
"Thanks for suggesting Jolina Petersheim's "The Alliance". I was inspired by the way the characters used their background to try to protect their way of life through a disaster (by the way, I had a great aunt named Leora--I don't…"
"Since I've read another in Jen Turano's "Apart from the Crowd" series, I knew I'd be entertained by her vaudeville-esque style (and her "how many ways can you turn down a marriage proposal?" creativity!). The…"
"I am so encouraged when unsung heroes like Louis are brought to light to make a rich story. I am involved with a few prayer ministries, so the overlay of prayer really spoke to me also.
Several phrases have stuck with me--when Logan says that…"
" Thanks for suggesting this book! I was drawn to "The Love Letter" since my DAR ancestors were from South Carolina. We don't often think how difficult communication was in those days, and how important delivered notes and…"
"And I am so glad you featured the book. I probably wouldn't have been aware of it, even though it was available in the library (another branch, though). As is so often true, those families who had nothing of material value (in the prison)…"
"I volunteer in a local prison (leading Moms in Prayer), and I couldn't help comparing the English debtors prison with a prison today that might represent many types of crimes, and the difference then and now in the caring of physical and…"

We have review sites, Book stores have put up pages, some of them are in the process of starting a book club, it just might be in your area. This is not a site you need to be on every day, but just check out parts of it when you can.
I LOVE Book club. I’m passionate about getting the word out about Christian authors and their books to book clubs. I think this could be a great for them to meet for each to learn from the other; authors from book clubs and book clubs from authors, I’ve seen that so far. It’s been fun to watch. We’ll see where the Lord leads us in 2012. We have many exciting opportunities lined up just for you. Book Clubs are about relationships with each other and with authors. It’s a win win!
