Been really, busy but so glad to be learning new things all the time.My new strategy is to sort of lay low, watch and learn more while reading everyones' comments/posts and as many of your books as I can. Need to make time to improve my page also.
Michelle Sutton seems like an expert I could lean on for tips there;) Hey Michelle!
Just noticed that if you look at the comment text box, there is an option to "post to your own wall" So I think you can post it there, then go and comment back as well, that way everyone sees both sides of the conversation. I will make a comment on your wall and give it a try to see if I get a response, or if you have to post both there and on my wall for it to work?
Send me a message you respond here by "posting to your own wall" ?
Hi, GREAT to see you here. I hope we all can have fun here. I think this could be a great way to share ideas and have book clubs learn from one another. I also think that authors can learn from each other about the fun they have had with book clubs and/or invite book clubs that they've spoken with either in person or on the phone.
We'll see where the Lord leads but I hope we can learn, have fun and brainstorm some really special book club meetings for both Authors and book clubs!
Lol, yes, networking. Amalia would be pronounced: Ah Mah lee yah. Mah would be the emphasis. Kitrin is the love name my uncle gave my aunt. They're still married 55+ years and my marriage heroes :-) She goes by Kitty. But her real name is Clarice. Nope, it makes no sense to someone else. But I hear him call her Kitrin and I know it means "I love you." It's the coolest thing I've ever heard/watched. The sound of his voice changes and the look on her face changes. She's now 84 and he's turning 80!
Oh it's a beautiful name! I might have to file that one away for a future character in a book. I have 6 kids, 4 mine and 2 his, but I only got to name one daughter, Mariah. I keep asking my children to use my great grandmother's name, Amalia. I keep getting told no. sigh. I've asked them for a little granddaughter to name Kitrin too. But I'm getting shut down on that name as well. Bummer! I think I should have had a passle of daughters :-)
