Here are ways you can get involved…
MONTHLY GIVEAWAYS – To enter drawings, you must JOIN the Author’s group. It’s easy! You will see the GROUPS on the left-hand side of the Front Page of TBCN. Click on the author’s name and the group will come up. Now, CLICK the JOIN button (upper right-hand side) and you are in. THEN you will see what the author is offering for the month. It’s under DISCUSSION DATE. For example: August 21, 2017 Giveaway. Authors give away anything from gift cards to books and everything in-between. You can START entering the drawing on the THIRD MONDAY NIGHT of every month at the “Live” Chat. We meet each month for 30 minutes, catching up, talking about what’s on our minds, giving away coffee, and kicking off the giveaways for that month. If your name is drawn for a book, you can post the review on the author’s page. Post your review by pasting it into the comment box and hitting ADD REPLY.
“Live” Chat is held at TBCN on the third Monday night of the month. You are not required to be there to participate in the Giveaway events, but it’s a fun time to catch up with members and talk about chocolate, the book you just read, the movie you just saw — and maybe win a pound of yummy coffee. We start at 8 pm Eastern Standard Time. If you need more information, please contact Nora at email@example.com.
ARE YOU A BOOK CLUB? A Book Club Leader? SET UP a Book Club Page for your group. Post the books your group has read or will be reading this year. It will help other book clubs to know what book worked for your meeting. ADD pictures from group events and author visits, etc. It’s also helpful for other groups to know how it went. Post pictures of book events. Hold your book meeting online on your group page. Ask the author to join you there! Be creative. We also have lots of book ideas for your group.
