The Dishonorable Miss Delancey
by Carolyn Miller
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
The Dishonourable Miss Delancey is another very enjoyable regency read, and it is the third in the series,Regency Brides-A Legacy of Grace. This book’s faith theme was strong, yet it was so natural to the storyline. That’s not an easy feat, but the author did a fantastic job of weaving it in to be a natural part of the story.
The reader truly feels the agony and humility that Clara is forced to endure, tho much of it is due to her own actions. However, one can’t simply relive the past. Clara and Benjamin’s story is a good one, and I found I had a hard time putting this book down.
The characters are well done, the storyline one of forgiveness and grace, and overall a truly enjoyable read with bits of treasured scenes to remind the reader of God’s working in our lives.
I highly recommend all three of the stories in this series.
I received this book from the publisher. All opinions are my own.
