Review of Hallee Bridgeman's A Melody For James

I loved A Melody For James. Hallee did and excellent job of building the suspense throughout the book, and has a surprising ending. She has done a wonderful job of building Romance , loss, suspense and friendship. A Melody for James will keep you up late reading, so plan to read this book when you have the time to devote to it.
James is recovering from the brutal murder of his wife , Angela, and the loss of the breakthrough she had just made, but not shared. Melody is returning from her 'honeymoon' alone. Sparks fly when they meet and plan a date. Due to an attack on Melody the date never occurs. They meet again 4 years later. Now their pasts are beginning to cause problems...but who and which enemy, hers or his? With prayer, good friends, and security they just want to be happy. How long until they will be free?
I was given this book by www.bookfun.org for purposes of reviewing. The opinions are my own.
