Many things come unplanned...
Alana Terry has a way of getting to the heart of tough issues, of digging deep inside, not only her characters, but also her readers. She makes you stop, think, and evaluate your own beliefs and actions. Unplanned is a poignant tale of a young woman far from family, adjusting to life back in the US, who is faced with some tough circumstances in which she must find her own beliefs. She has to decide where she stands and not just echo her parents' views. As always, Alana Terry tackles tough issues without judgment, except for the bad guys, her characters are real people facing some of life's hardest moments.
Unplanned was one of those books that I read in a single afternoon. I just could not put it down and kept breathlessly turning page after page. Alana Terry really knows how to keep her readers glued to the page. She has a real flair for riveting drama and danger-filled suspense.
Unplanned is the first Kennedy Stern novel and I'm not sure I can waaiiitt until the next book releases. I know that in the coming months I will be haunting the various books sites looking for news of a book two in the series...
(I received a copy of this book from the author in exchange for my review. All opinions are my own.)
