Amish Friends Harvest Cookbook by Wanda E. Brunstetter

Wanda E. Brunstetter's Amish Friends Harvest Cookbook is one of the best cookbooks I now own. I'm very impressed with the beautiful photos throughout the book. Scriptural messages add to the theme of each category featured.
Recipes have been collected from numerous communities of Amish and Mennonites, locations that Ms. Brunstetter has visited throughout her travels. She has developed friendships through many areas where her friends have been willing to share their secrets of cooking the Amish way.
I found several recipes that I will be trying, tried and true recipes that the Amish have passed through generations. Methods for preserving the harvest are provided. As cookbooks go I'm not one to buy them for myself, but I'm grateful for receiving a copy of this one from the publisher.
Disclaimer: I received a copy of this book from the publisher in exchange for my honest review. All expressed opinions are my own, and no monetary compensation was received for this review.
