A Robertson Family Christmas by Miss Kay Robertson with Travis Thrasher

I must say that I wasn't sure what I was going to find when I chose to read A Robertson Family Christmas. I haven't followed their television program, aside from watching a couple of episodes. This book changed the way I originally perceived this family and their somewhat "atypical"…

Nana's 3 Jars: Giving Generously (Volume 1) by Carol Round

Beautiful Story!

Carol Round has done it again! She has written another book that is simple, but carries a huge message. In this case it's in the form of Nana's 3 Jars: Giving Generously (Volume 1). Carol has written a story that shares the message of how important it is to give. The message is shared through a story of a grandmother's interaction with her grandchildren. The story is written simple enough so that children can read it on their own and understand…

Love Unexpected...a touching tale!

This was a beautiful well-written story of love, forgiveness, and God's power to change a man's heart. I completely fell in love with the characters in this read. Patrick's struggles are real, and I can certainly relate to fighting the flesh once the spirit lives within. It's a life long struggle in which God gives strength and shows us his love and mercy. He is a very humble man and a like able character. For those who write that they dislike main characters and their perfectionist, this read… Continue

Review of FIND OUT ANYTHING FROM ANYONE, ANYTIME

Find Out Anything From Anyone, Anytime

“The paradox of questioning is that simple questions can lead to detailed, on-target answers, but complicated questions get you single-word answers from a subject who doesn’t want to talk, and unrestrained answers from a person who does,” James O. Pyle and Maryann Karinch write in their book, Find Out Anything From Anyone, Anytime: Secrets of Calculated Questioning from a Veteran Interrogator.

Think Before You Speak

Part of the fun of the Christmas season is thinking about what food or gift you’ll be taking to parties and get-togethers. (If you’re like me, this can also be part of the stress because of my less-than-Julia Child skills!)

Although food and gifts add to feelings of goodwill, there’s another more long-lasting way to express love and friendship—it’s taking…
