Another must read from Tracy Higley!
I was totally blown away by Palace Of Darkness and by the author's descriptions of Petra. When I finished the book I was inspired to do some online research about Petra. What an amazing an awe-inspiring place, if you've never look at pictures of Petra you really should. And the history! WOW! I couldn't believe how…Continue

While most would consider falling over a bag of money to be a good thing, in Hailey's case, it turns out to be just the beginning of a series of events that aren't exactly a good thing, well unless you count how tripping over the money brings Parker into the picture, which is definitely a good thing. And thus begins the action, the romance, and the humor, which all add up to one perfect combination. June Kramin does a great job of pulling all of these together and the…Continue

“On the first Christmas ever, there wasn’t a Christmas tree or stockings by the fire. There was only a stable, some animals and shepherds, and a manger filled with hay. But on that special night when Jesus was born, the world changed forever,” the back jacket cover states in Zonderkidz’s book, The First Christmas Ever.

Pits are no fun!
They are hard places to be in.
They affect us physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
Working recently on my new retreat series on the life of Joseph, I imagined his cries of bewilderment and fear—the shock and confusion that must have permeated his mind and left him shaking.…Continue

I have to admit that when I first began reading the book, I was captivated right off the bat, and surprised at the same time. I liked how descriptive the opening scene was. I felt like I was right there with Holt, holding my breath all the way. And that's also what made me surprised. Having read the plot description, I didn't expect the story to begin with such a scene. I was pleasantly surprised by it, and the surprises didn't stop there. Twice A Target was full of surprises and…Continue
