The Hawaiian Discovery by Wanda and Jean Brunstetter

I enjoyed my second "trip to Hawaii". Although The Hawaiian Discovery is a sequel to The Hawaiian Quilt, the authors fill in enough background that you can enjoy this novel as a standalone. But I would highly encourage you not to miss the first one either.

It was good to be able to catch up with Ellen, Mandy and other characters that have seemed like friends. Ellen has been working at the Bed and Breakfast in her hometown that Mandy and her husband Ken own. But when Ken's father suffers…

Together Forever, Orphan Train Book 2 by Jody Hedlund

Together Forever - Orphan Train Book 2, is another winner by Jody Hedlund. She writes wonderful historical novels. I know when I'm reading one of hers that actual events and characters may be included, that's why I always read the author's notes in the back of the book. She researches her topic well so that the actual facts of history are accurate. It's a great way to learn in among the fiction.

It's not absolutely imperative that you read book one, With You Always, to enjoy this one…

Falling for You by Becky Wade

The cover on this book has drawn me in from the very first time I saw it. It's one of my very favorites and clearly brought out as a part in the book. Some covers are random and don't really follow the story but I was pleased to find the reference to Willow's appearance in the actual plot.

No matter how perfect someone's life seems, how rich they are, how wonderful their careers seem, life gets in the way and things can become very messy. This Bradford Sister's Romance #2, hones in on…

The Heart's Appeal by Jennifer Delamere

The Heart’s Appeal by Jennifer Delamere is book two of the London Beginnings series.  The Heart’s Appeal is a historical romance set in London in 1881.  This is the first novel written by Jennifer Delamere that I have read; I want to read the first title in this series and any other of her works.  The first scenes draw the reader in, as a future medical student, Julia Bernay, is thrust into a train accident and must use her skills and knowledge to save a life.  Her official training that…
