"Katie's Quest" Will Be Released Tomorrow!

Katie Dennis committed to serve as a nurse in the Amazon even after her fiancé died on a training flight. She wouldn’t have lasted through the first mission trip if not for Matt, a pilot born and reared in the jungle. But she’d never fall for a pilot again.

Matt Gibbs, missionary pilot, finally settled on a good choice for a wife, someone known to his family all…

An Amish Home - Four Novellas

These four stories by four different authors are so heartwarming, faith filled and real. When I'm really into a book, I can read it in record time, and this one was like that. Each story was unique with conflicts, troubles and issues to deal with.

A Cup Half Full by Beth Wiseman moved me in that the main female character had an accident that caused her to be unable to walk. My brother was paralyzed a couple of years ago so I was able to understand some of her emotions as well as that of… Continue

REVIEW OF TIME TSUNAMI BY DANELE J. ROTHAMEL

I found Time Tsunami by Danele J. Rothamel to be quite an intriguing story. The possibility that specially trained people could travel back in time and alter the future of others is fascinating, especially in the context of the main character in this book, who starts out on death row after committing a heinous crime.

The author builds a believable science fiction world and sweeps her readers into the daily lives of those who function there. Her creation of the Temporal…

Hollywood

I spent Wednesday night in the Phoenix Airport and flew out at 5:00 AM.  Arrived in Spokane, WA, at noon Thursday.  Talked to other writers and heard a panel of movie producers.

Today I had appointments with two movie producers and one movie agent.  The one producer I had most hopes for (Bryan Bird who also works with Michael Landon Jr with TV series and also worked on "Touched by an Angel" said he is currently working on his own "The Nazarene".  Of course, what I wrote would…

Scripture for Saturday, May 27 (5/27)

The scripture for today, May 27 (5/27), is Job 5:27 as found in the Old Testament of the Bible:

"We have examined this, and it is true. So hear it and apply it to yourself."

My Heart Belongs in the Superstition Mountains by Susan Page Davis

This was a different type western from any I've read before, but in a good way. I had recently read a book about the Superstition Mountains so this book caught my eye. I couldn't help but feel sorry for the main character, Carmela, and all she'd suffered in her young life. Losing her parents on a wagon train headed to California when she was twelve, being taken over by a devious uncle who only saw dollar signs in his niece and having ugly tattoos marked on her face by him to fool audiences into… Continue

Review of WHO TOLD YOU THAT YOU WERE NAKED?

Who Told You That You Were Naked?: A Refreshing Reexamination of the Garden of Eden

“If we recognize the root of sin is our mental capacity to discern good and evil, then we can begin to understand we are incapable of overcoming this antagonist,” William E. Combs writes in his book, Who Told You That You Were Naked? A Refreshing Reexamination of the Garden of Eden.
