I’m not a person who follows politics or the international scene very closely, but this book, set in a dark corner of the world, drew me in from page one and held my attention to the very last word. I have never read any previous work by Jeanette Windle, but this book was well worth my time.
Robin Duncan has one goal in mind when she takes an assignment with an international corporation. Drawing on her past experience…Continue

No fooling. The third book in my trilogy Every Hill and Mountain is now out! Like the others, it’s a combination of history, faith, and fiction. Once again Abby and her friends are using the weird computer program called Beautiful House to “time-surf” in old houses—this time in the infamous Old Slave House near Equality, Illinois. Click here to read about the…Continue

Wanted to let everyone know about the blog tour I helped a dear friend put together to celebrate the release of her debut novel. I hope that you will stop over and congratulate Susan and don't forget to enter the AWESOME giveaway too!
The Moses Conspiracy by Susan J. Reinhardt
A trip to post-terrorized Washington, D.C. in 2025 and a buggy accident in Bird-in-Hand, PA set in motion events that expose a diabolical plan to destroy the Christian community. Ellie and John…

Some really good practical tips to rid your home and life of clutter. Easy to read and follow guidelines to get organized and stay that way.
Since I'm a pack-rat, I was skeptical about these ideas working, but they actually do. I have to admit that it's difficult to part with stuff when you're used to keeping "things". I think the key is to realize that they are just that, "things". Ü
Thank you Sandra and Marsha for writing this book.…Continue

5 Days to a Clutter Free House by Sandra Felton and Marsha Sims is not your typical de-cluttering book.
The book is divided into two sections. Section one deals primarily with the way to de-clutter, whereas section two deals with how to develop habits to keep your home clutter free.
Section one is brimful of incisive de-cluttering tips. For example the authors urge us to divide room cleaning into stages, using the body as our guide - feet to knees, knees to shoulders…Continue

My choice for the March fiction book award is Tasa Afshar's novel "Rubies." This talented writer and I have much in common and I look forward to reading all her novels. I was not born in Iran like Ms. Afshar but I did come to faith in Iran in the midst of my husband's Muslim family. My characters are today's Jewish heroes and she writes about Biblical Israeli characters. How cool is that?

Spring is officially here. Or, that’s what the calendar says anyway. I’m afraid Mother Nature has a mind of her own though. I woke to sleet pelting the tin roof over my head Sunday morning after spending our first night of the season at our camper on New River. And the forecast for Independence, Virginia for the next three days is highs in the thirties, lows in the twenty’s, with snow.
There are many things in life we can change. Our hair color, our clothes, we can lose…Continue

I have started saying that Ginny L. Yttrup is one of Christian fiction’s best kept secrets. I wish it wasn’t true, but it seems to be right now. She has been gaining ground and her first book, Words, continues to find readers even with the difficult subject matter.
Invisible is Ginny’s third book and she is just getting better and better. She takes on the matter of…Continue
