Armed with your courage and determination, you set out to track down the thieving pirates. And so begins your epic journey …” Gerry Gaston writes in his children’s book, Quest for the Lost Treasure.

Seeing the Hearts in a Relationships

A review of "Blowing on Dandelions" by Miralee Ferrell

Kathleen, a widow, runs a boarding house in the 1880's in Oregon. She has two daughters with whom I totally fell in love. Kathleen's mother is coming, and she is not looking forward to the visit. Her mom has always needed her own way, spoke so strictly, and doesn't appear at all to love her. Kathleen struggles with trying to respect her mother while not letting her totally run her life. She wants to honor her mother as God says,… Continue

GRATITUDE JOURNALING

GRATITUDE JOURNALING:  Gratitude journaling is exactly what it sounds like: writing about whatever it is you are grateful for.  Being grateful is one thing, writing about your gratitude is quite powerful.   Gratitude journaling is uplifting, encouraging and makes you feel wonderful.  You can make a list of things you are grateful for, or you could write about the way you feel about your blessings in sentence form.  No matter how bad things may appear, they could always be worse.  There is…

Solitude

Are you a loner or do you like having someone around you all the time? I must say I’m a little of both. I enjoy people, or most people anyway but there are times when I just need to be left alone. For the past few weeks my husband has been at home. He’s trying out retirement. Unfortunately, for me he’s enjoying it. I am simply not use to having someone under foot 24/7. Normally he would be outside doing his thing but with the weather being so yucky he’s been in the house… with me… all day……

Welcome home! Shouts Family.

Love, joy, peace and Liberty.

We are all home, What a treat.

Hearts and house full, Love’s complete.”

This rhyme concludes in Teresa Travous Hull’s book, Love’s Complete: A Russian Adoption.

Review of THE THIEF: A NOVEL

“But if she couldn’t do as the centurion said, he could arrest her. And if he found out what she carried in her belt – who she really was – he’d turn her over to the Sanhedrin, and they would get the stoning they had been denied,” Nissa ponders in Stephanie Lansem’s book, The Thief: A Novel.

LETTING GO

LETTING GO: "Confronting a person or situation can be uncomfortable, but so can guilt, resentment and anger. Setting it right within you may not involve confronting someone. It may involve writing a letter or journaling... Whatever it is you need to do to be true to yourself and your feelings, do it. I am not talking about getting revenge or "getting back" at someone for what they did to you. That would be adding more negativity to the situation. I am talking about what you can do to…
