It is spring-and time flew by as I worked on a new book. I met a new children's author-friend Jenny Cote, and she has exciting news. Her book The Ark, the Reed, and the Fire Cloud is being made into an animated film! And she's been developing curriculum to go with her books. It's great to see Christian books do well.

It's almost Christmas and I've added books to my list to buy for children in my life. Trains and the latest animals in the Bible plus devotionals will be wrapped and passed out.

What books have you bought for children this season?

Hi, Everyone,

In case you are interested, my new children's picture book, Who Is Jesus?, was just released. I wrote the book to help children develop a personal relationship with Jesus by understanding His true character as God, Lord, and Savior, in sharp contrast to the false picture our culture presents of Him as merely a good man or a kind teacher.  If you are a professional reviewer and would like a reviewer's PDF copy, I will be happy to send you one.  Otherwise, you may check out the book at

My new book released!! The One Year Devotions for Active Boys. It's full of fun activities to match each devo, and for ages 9-14. If you want a review copy let me know and tell me where you'll post the reviews.

Another new cute series:

“Making angels in the snow,
Soaking up the shimmery glow,
Snowflakes made by God, I know.
Thank You, God, for winter.
Dandi Daley Mackall writes in her children’s book, The Wonderful Gifts of Winter.

Cute concept book:

“Terrance the Trapezoid often sat alone on a hill, watching other shapes play. He felt like he didn’t fit in, so Terrance never joined in their games. He wasn’t like the other shapes. A circle, triangle, and square could be lots of different things, but not Terrance. He couldn’t see anything that was made from a trapezoid,” Hilary and Drew McSherry write in their children’s book, Terrance the Trapezoid.

What a wonderful, educational series!

“Jesus was once a kid just like you! He went to school, had great friends, learned to be a carpenter, and had to help around the house,” Nancy I. Sanders writes on the back jacket of her book, Get to Know Jesus.
