LAST DAY TO ENTER

OCTOBER 31st

BACK COVER: A woman with a devastating secret. A man bent on proving his worth. A chance encounter that catapults them into the heart of history.

When the daughter of a prominent Roman general meets a disinherited Jewish immigrant, neither one can dream of God’s plan to transform them into the most influential couple of the early church. Nor can they anticipate the mountains that will threaten to bury them. Their courtship unwittingly shadowed by murder and betrayal, Priscilla and Aquila slowly work to build a community of believers, while their lives grow increasingly complicated thanks to a shaggy dog, a mysterious runaway, and a ruthless foe desperate for love. But when they’re banished from their home by a capricious emperor, they must join forces with an unusual rabbi named Paul and fight to turn treachery into redemption.

I have not started a new book yet. I plan on finishing Once Upon a Christmas.

I am just finishing Isaiah's Legacy. I enjoy Texas's books and would be thrilled to win Daughter of Rome.

I am reading UNSCRIPTED by Davis Bunn.

I am currently reading an ARC of A Silver Willow by the Shore, about 3 generations of women hiding secrets and the familial bonds that tie them together.

I'm currently reading "Always Look Twice" by Elizabeth Goddard. I am so looking forward to "Daughter of Rome"! I am eager to explore some of Priscilla and Aquila's backstory and deepen my knowledge of both this time period in Biblical history and their ministry.

I'm reading Fatal Strike by DiAnn Mills. Daughter of Rome sounds very interesting!

I am currently reading "Caleb's Crossing" by Geraldine Brooks for book club.  I've just started it and our meeting is tomorrow night, so I guess I won't have much to discuss!  We had previously read "People of the Book" also by Geraldine Brooks.  Your "Daughter of Rome" sounds interesting!

I am just finishing “A Lineage of Grace” by Francine Rivers
I’m currently reading Hope’s Highest Mountain by Misty M. Beller.

I'm reading Agatha Christie's And Then There Were None. It's my first Christie, and it fits well for fall.

One of my favorite books. :) They came to Baghdad is also good.

I’m reading One More River to Cross by Jane Kirkpatrick.
