At the time she was promoting her book In the Field of Grace.
The biblical insight into these stories is astounding. For example I was deeply moved and astounded by her book The Land of Silence.
This book gives you an up-close and very personal look at the woman with the issue of blood. Tessa explains in the beginning about her research. Little is know about this women but much is known about how they handled issues of blood (women's issues) Grin!
This woman is a brilliant storyteller and has a way of masterfully weaving biblical truths in these stories in a non-preachy way. But one that has you walk in these characters shoes. It's profound.
I'm excited to set up this page for Tessa as she gets ready to release a new novel about Priscilla and Aquilla. In March of 2020.
We will have drawings here and more information about how to be part of Tessa's Street team for her new novel.
I'm excited to be part of the birthing process of her next book. I know you will be too!

Land of Silence was one of my favorites. I have been recommending it and others to everyone.
Looking forward to reading your next book.
I love the biblical account of Priscilla & Aquilla and I look forward to reading this new book.
I have been on many street teams in the last few years. You must read the books d post reviews on as many sites as you can. They will have posts on social media that they will ask you to share or to post. They may ask you to see if you can suggest the book be bought by your local library. They may ask if you will talk about the book on a blog or just to family and friends. It is a lot of fun.
I have not read any yet but do have Bread of Angels and Land of Silence that I’m planning to read. For other street teams, I read the books, reviewed them on retailer sites as well as BookBub and Goodreads, promoted the books via social media, word of mouth, and recommendation to local library.
I have read "Bread of Angels", a copy of which I won prior to its release, and "Thief of Corinth". I served on the launch team for the latter and would absolutely love to be on the Street Team! I have been looking forward to the Priscilla and Aquila novel for months already. Each new book of Tessa's that I read becomes my favorite; she is just that good!
I have been on Street Teams and launch teams before. Most recently, I served on the launch team for Jody Hedlund's "A Reluctant Bride" and am currently on the launch team for "Until the Mountains Fall" by Connilyn Cossette. As a street team/launch team member, you are expected to read the book as soon as possible after receiving it, write and post a review on your blog and retail sites, share posts and graphics about the book and its release on social media venues, suggest that your local library carry the book, recommend the book to friends, and take part in any other promotional activities.
I have been on street teams before. I read the book and post reviews on Amazon, Goodreads, BookBub, Barnes&Noble, and any other place the author request. I share it on facebook and ask my local library to order it. I haven't read any of Tessa Afshar's books, but they sound really good.
I am on several street teams. I promote authors books, do reviews and share graphics.
I have read 3 of Tessa's books, Bread of Angels, Thief of Corinth (I was on the launch team for this one) and Land of Silence--so moved by this one--one of my favorite Biblical accounts. What courage she showed!
I've read several of Tessa's books! If I HAD to pick a favorite, I suppose it would be Land of Silence because I've never read another fiction story about the biblical woman with the 12 year bleeding issue. All of them are so good though!
