What food says "I love you" to you?  Chocolate covered strawberries!!!

Sweet and fruity and oh, so romantic! I'm with you on this, Jennifer!

Jennifer, my husband and I will always remember our 35th wedding anniversary--a once-in-a-lifetime cruise to Alaska. When we entered our stateroom, there were chocolate covered strawberries waiting for us! What a way to begin an anniversary cruise!

Thank you for this giveaway, looks wonderful!  Just about anything chocolate, SCREAMS, I love you but if I have to pick one, it will be chocolate covered strawberries.  And I made those last Valentine's Day for my hubby and my daughter.  They loved them!

Another vote for chocolate covered strawberries! The Culver's in our town occasionally features chocolate covered strawberries as their custard flavor of the day. Whenever I see it advertised on the sign I have to call my friend Kathy so she can start making hints to her hubby! Great date night!

Frankly, if there's an abundance of strawberries, I think chocolate-covered comes in miles ahead of pie or shortcake. Well, not miles. Certainly several feet.

I've been known to stick chocolate chips in a teaspoon of peanut butter when there are no Reeses in the house! Cynthia and I were part of a booksigning in Green Bay yesterday. Guess what I put in the candy dish on my end of the table?? Definitely says love!

Dove Chocolate says "I love you" to me. My husband loves to surprise me with bags full. I love Romancing America stories; it's a fun way to visit interesting places from the pages of a book.

Thanks for stopping by, Rebecca. (Great name, BTW!) Have you ever indulged in a Dove ice cream bar??

Rebecca, I'm glad you made that comment. We always write plenty of local flavor into our Romancing America novella collections. This same group of authors wrote A Door County Christmas. We're hoping readers feel the same way about the charm of Cedarburg in Cedar Creek Seasons.

So true. One of my favorite Mother's Day breakfasts-in-bed was peanut butter toast and a can of root beer--made by loving little hands!

I can make my husband swoon if I make him homemade chicken pot pie. :)
