Woman thou art Healed & Whole is a 90 day devotional written especially for women who have experienced trauma, abuse, bad relationships and betrayal. They may struggle with having made poor decisions, feeling guilt or shame. When a woman goes through these experiences she may not be able to life a fulfilling life.
The book covers these life experiences and many more. T. D. Jakes writes this devotional starting each day with a bible verse relating to many negative life experiences for women. He follows up the bible verses with a more in depth description and end each day with “Your Healing Journey. This part provides the reader with additional bible verses to read and additional information.
Some of the things I like the most about the book are that the author reminds us that women should not look to men to determine their worth. Women need stability and they are meant to be coveted, nurtured and protected.
One of the helpful things the author mentions in the book is to write down 30 things you would like to do with your life and cross them out as you do them
This is a good book not just for women who have gone through bad experiences. All women will gain from reading this book. The books is 269 pages, broken up into 90 sessions to be covered one session per day. The book is small in dimension so would be easy to lip in a purse or overnight case to take with you.

Book Review: Woman thou art Healed and Whole
By T. D. Jakes
Through this devotional, Reverend T.D. Jakes continues to encourage women who have fears and unease because of their background or their health issues.
He speaks kindness to his readers. Each devotion begins with a scripture. Then he interprets the passage. Following this, he includes a section, called Your Healing Journey.
I enjoyed this book. I shared a devotion from it with some of the women in a prayer group I attend. In a phone conversation with the leader of this group, I told her I thought of her when I read certain devotions in it.
I would recommend this book to anyone who has difficulties with letting go of her past due to illness, addiction, or any mistakes she might have made. I would also recommend it to anyone in the counseling field, either a pastor or a Christian in the secular field.
I received a copy of this book from the publisher, Destiny Image, Inc. through the website, Book Club Network. All they asked of me was an impartial review.

As many of us know, Mr. T.D. Jakes is a prolific author and this book is just another example of his giftedness. On the back of his book, Mr. Jakes writes “many women are not enjoying an abundant, full, and satisfying life because they are still imprisoned by the pain of the past. It’s time to get free…and live free!” WOW, wouldn’t that be incredible if we could get free and live free. This devotional is a tool to help us all get there. It is a valuable tool and one that you will want on your book shelf, on your coffee table or even on your kitchen table. Close to you so you are able to pick it up whenever and be cleansed with the freeing words of TRUTH.

With many of the same insights as Woman Thou Art Loosed, this stand alone journal of devotions is heart touching, and healing emotionally and spiritually.
I love the prayers in this journal and the insight that T. D Jakes has about the emotional pain that can alter who we as women were created to be.
I highly recommend this journal for daily reflection, or to give as a gift.

This 90-day devotional will instruct and inspire women to accept what Christ has to offer. The well-known author shares that for every person’s problem, God has a prescription. This book can serve as the doctor’s orders for how to get well. Embracing and following these directions should result in victorious living. Each entry includes a focus verse of Scripture, teaching text, and practical application, “Your Healing Journey,” to personalize it. I recommend keeping this as a resource to go through often. Although addressed to women, the truths are widely applicable. I received the book from Book Fun Club in exchange for an honest review.

A great collection of thought provoking devotions.
Each of these devotions is well written and express one aspect of healing and growth. Some of them do build on the previous day’s thought. Many of them address the hurt caused by abuse. There are a number though dealing with other types of wounds. Some of them even seem to be focused on mistakes that we ourselves make and the guilt that is carried from those mistakes.
There were a few of the readings that just plain didn’t make sense to me and I struggled a lot with trying to understand what the author was saying. This is the reason that I took one star off from my rating.
I received a free copy of this book through The Book Club Network. I chose to write this review to express my personal opinion.

Thank you for the opportunity to read and review this book.
Woman Thou Art Healed & Whole is a 90-Day Devotional Journey by T.D. Jakes. The author’s name is synonymous with excellence and scriptural soundness. This is a very helpful and inspiring devotional for women. Although it is a plan for 90 days, it is so interesting and satisfying that it is hard to read just one a day. Yet, the book is designed for reflection that leads to being free so it should not be rushed. Every person has a past, hurts, failings, sin that Satan uses to bind and keep her ineffective. The author uses scriptural truths and his words to affirm that God forgives and heals and wants us whole and free to live for Him. These daily devotionals are brief but packed with wisdom and inspiration. Every woman can gain healing and direction for abundant life and freedom in Him.
I recommend this helpful book that can be reread and referenced frequently. His words give direction for reflection, action, and prayer. I received this book through TBCN in exchange for an honest review. (posted on Amazon, Good Reads, Christian Books, Deeper Shopping, Barnes & Noble, and Books-a-Million)
