Jill Tomlinson’s Forgiven Favored and Free is full of insight and fresh perspective. How many of us choose to remain orphans when we are truly a child of the One True King? Ms. Tomlinson encourages us to tear down the walls we have built around our hearts that say we are not worthy or deserving of the affections of our Heavenly Father. We’re not, but He has bestowed them upon us regardless, and the best way we can love Him in return is to accept the gifts He lavishes upon us.

In the power of Jesus we can throw off our captivity to sin, demand sickness leave our bodies, accept and rejoice in blessings in our finances, relationships and health. This is an eye-opening book for those who may have forgotten or never quite understood what is available to us as the purchase of God and how we may claim the blessings God wants to give us. I would recommend this book to anyone struggling with illness, depression or simply a lack-luster life. As children of the Most High God, we are Forgiven, Favored and Free.

Forgiven, Favored and Free by author Jill Tomlinson is a book chocked full of forgiveness, hope, and inspiration. It addresses perspectives. How we see things and to whom we turn are important. It addresses God's work in us and love for us. We were all created for a reason.

Relatively small, this 112 page book is Biblically based, referencing various Bible translations. The book is well written and the chapters flow seamlessly. The author does a good job communicating the importance of our relationship with God. It is inspiring, insightful and focuses on God, His mercy, and our communication with Him. It reminds us that we are "forgiven, favored and free" as Sons and Daughters of the King. It recalls the price paid for our forgiveness. Grace, faith, hope, and love are examined. Giants of faith from the Bible are referenced, and scripture abounds in this mighty little book. It offers hope for the depressed and sick. It reminds us that we are children of God, not left alone and orphaned.

I would recommend this book to anyone wanting a closer walk with God and to those struggling - struggling with life, sickness, depression or simply struggling. It is an encouraging, hopeful book that will strengthen a person's daily walk with God. I rated this 5 out of 5 stars. I was given a copy of this book for my honest opinion from The Book Club Network. Reviews were posted on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Christianbookdistributors, Deepershopping, and Good Reads.

"Forgiven, Favored & Free" by Jill Tomlinson is a book about living our lives as sons and daughters of the King.  This book is especially helpful for those who feel beaten down and worn out.  God doesn't want us to live this way!  Jill Tomlinson addresses these issues and shows us how to live a triumphant life!  This is written in a very easy to read format.

I received this book from bookfun for my honest opinion.

This is a little book, just over 150 pages, but so full of Scripture based teaching on how to live the abundant life Jesus came to give us.

As sons/daughters of the King we have a royal inheritance but many, “...settle for the crumbs that scatter about on the floor around the place setting designated for them.”  pg. 14

In order to live in the reality of this inheritance we must understand whose we are.  We are made in God’s image.  We are His!  I am a child of the KING-GOD therefore I am a joint heir with Jesus and all that goes with this, but whether or not I choose to accept this reality and live in it does not make it any less real.

We must spend time with God, to live in intimacy with Him, so that our very thinking becomes His thinking.
“Intimacy with God is simply ‘doing life’ with God...” pg. 31

God wants us to be healthy in spirit, soul and body.  Sometimes we don’t get what happens when we are saved, and because of this often deal with feelings of defeat when we fail/sin, thinking we are not worthy and will never measure up.

“I didn’t realize that at salvation my spirit man was immediately transformed, making me perfectly righteous in God’s sight, but that the process of my soul being made into the image of Christ would be an ongoing work.”  pg. 55, 56

Christ came so that we are no longer living under law but in His Grace.

The author will cover many topics, some in ways I have never seen and open your eyes to see old learned teachings in new ways, helping you to live the abundant life Jesus died to give.  We will be reminded how to pray, and what not to pray, believing we will receive the victory.

Old Christian or New to the faith, pick up this little book and see if it doesn’t make some major changes both in your thinking, but more importantly in your life!

This book helps you find your true path with God. I loved it. It shows you how to have a wonderful relationship with God in a not so great world. The author did a great job on this book with the flow and ease of each chapter. It was very easy to reflect on the content.
This book shows that God is with us in all aspects of our lives. He wants us to feel good about ourselves and through scripture he gives us the answers we need. This book is a powerful tool in finding the relationship you want with God and shows you how to leave the enemy behind.
I would definitely recommend this book. Thank you and God Bless

This book speaks to all of our hearts, no matter where you are at on your spiritual journey. I loved the all the truths that Jill pulled out of the Bible and brings to light. Things we need to grab a hold of and let seep into our hearts.

Jill said so many things that touched me but I will only share one with you. On page 85 she writes: “Wherever you go and whatever you do, God goes with you. Your employer, the businesses you frequent, and the people in your life are all blessed because of the favor of God on your life.”

As a teacher that really impacted me as I thought of my students. Who can be blessed in  your life because of God’s favor on you? Something to think about, that’s for sure.

If you need to hear the message that your are forgiven, favored and free then this is a must-read for you. Allow these words become real to you and live in the truth of them.

This was an interesting book. I hadn't really thought about the troubles in our lives sometimes being there because of our lack of taping into what God has given us through salvation. I wasn't completely sure that I agreed with her on everything she said but, I did see where in some of our circumstances our attitude and knowing who we are in Christ will affect that situation. She brought out several good points about Christians and how we should live because we are Forgiven, Favored and Free. We as Christians too often live as if we are in the dark when we have the light inside of us all the time. This book would be good for those who just can't seem to let go of the past or can't seem to believe that they deserve what God has done for them through salvation. A good book to read and ponder on as we live for Christ.  As with all books dealing with your spiritual life, I recommend you prayer and ask the Lord for discernment as you read. I was blessed with this book in exchange for my review through TBCN. A positive review was not required.

Forgiven, Favored, & Free is a compellingly insightful treatise on how believers in Christ can live the abundant life He came to give us. Jill M. Tomlinson does an excellent job of encouraging readers to more fully know God so we can learn to trust Him more fully and become more rooted in the truths of His word. This intimacy with God is recognizing our position as children of the King and practicing the presence of God throughout our everyday living. Tomlinson writes of the design of God that we recognize that we are His children and that we become aware of His kingdom and how God works in this world and in individual lives. Our Spirit man is perfected at salvation and our soul man is being perfected as we continue to know who and whose we are. The book is replete with scripture to back up the principles that are put forth. Recognition of the Father being at work in our lives enables us as His children to pray with authority and effectiveness, to live our lives with His power and protection, and to understand more fully what it means to be prosperous in the body and spirit. This is an encouraging book teaching of hope, faith and the love of the King of Kings, a book to be reread, meditated on and the principles therein to be lived out in the believer's life.
