CHECK OUT My Up-Cl;ose and FUN Inter THOMAS LOCKE/DAVIS BUNN INTERVIEW. If you haven't read this author's other books you'll need to check them out. He writes as Thomas Locke for the Fantasy Genre.

1) I love exploring the new worlds Sci-Fi/Fantasy novels. When authors have maps and details of their worlds in their books, it draws me in even more. I also love the different characters in the stories and the different types of people/animals. They make my imagination soar!

2. I have read only a little in this genre. I sometimes find it difficult to engage in worlds so different from the one I am familiar with. At the same time, I am in awe at the creative ability it takes to get the original story idea and expand it to encompass a whole alter world. I will try to read through a difficult scenario for understanding, but if it is too confusing, I might give up on it. Also, if it is too graphic in a violent or sexual manner, I will skip over that.

This author also writes under his real name Davis Bunn ( Used to be T. Davis Bunn) What books have you read by this author you LOVED???

I have read and loved the first book in the legend of the Realm,  The Emissary.  Great author. I've read all his books so far.

In response to #3, I have read a number of Davis Bunn's books and enjoy them all.  In fact, I have loved almost everything I have read that he has written.  I think "The Great Divide" was the first one I read and I was hooked.  I think "The Turning" is my favorite to date.

This isn't the genre that I read, but I am really excited to introduce this author to me son, who I know would love these books.  He looks for adventure, action and out of this world stuff when he reads.

1) I look forward to being transported to another world (in my mind).

In general it is hard to find a book that has a great mixture of romance and adventure. Davis Bunn knows how to do that. The 1st book of his I ever read was All through the Night. I loved it so much, I not only picked up more of his books but got my sister hooked as well.  Heartland, My Soul to Keep (which at the was a bit creepy), and Imposter are also some of my favorite books of his.

1. This is a suspense novel that's f Sci/Fi Fantasy story - What do you look forward to when you pick up and read a story like this?

When reading this genre I like being taken to a world that is unbelievable but through the author's abilities being convinced that this is a real world filled with characters that I can relate to  whom I care about.

3. This author also writes under his real name Davis Bunn ( Used to be T. Davis Bunn) What books have you read by this author you LOVED???

I like all of the Arcadia books that he wrote with Janette Oke and his wife.  I also loved the Centurion's Wife.

In answer to question #1:  I look for a story that will hook me at the beginning and keep my interest throughout.  I have not read too many sci-fi books, but those with a good story and action are the ones that I finish.  I have not read any of this author's books, although I see that many of them are on my TBR list.  I am looking forward to reading this one.  Thanks for the giveaway!

Because I knew and LOVED Davis Bunn books for years; I ventured out to read this novel when I found out he was Thomas Locke. He has the gift of emotionally connecting you to the characters and their situation in this book. I don't normally read this genre but I was hooked. This second book in the series looks great. I look forward to reading it. You will too. This works well for a Book Club setting too!
