Chicago lawyer Sydney Knight and Texas bull rider Jace McGowan have nothing in common but everything to lose when they are thrust together during a weekend rodeo in rural Illinois. Neither one of them would have imagined two years ago that the deep attraction they sensed during a day-long outing would resurface when Sydney's boss assigns her to Jace's legal case.

Sydney has been through a world of hurt since losing her dad when she was sixteen, then being dumped the morning of her wedding. She's sworn off romance and instead devotes her time toward a partnership in her father's law office.

Jace has found faith in God and wants out of his sponsor contract with a risqué restaurant chain that requires him to pose with scantily-clad women. He's about to bail on the contract and pay steep penalties—something he can ill afford, given that his deceased father left the family with unpaid taxes.

ABOUT BOOK: As beautiful Lake Geneva plays host to Chicago's elite in the exciting Big-Band era, aspiring reporter Meg Alden wants to work in a man's world. Will the man who steals her job also win her heart?

It's 1933, and beautiful Lake Geneva is a summertime playground for Chicago's wealthy. Local girl Meg Alden works at the town newspaper, but she aspires to be a real reporter. When a job opens up, Meg spies an opportunity to break into the business -- until Jack Wallace, son of the newspaper's owner, is hired instead. How will Meg ever be able to work with the man who stole her job... and makes her pulse race?

I would like to go to New England. My wife was born in Vermont, but I grew up in California (where we met) and I've never been to New England. I'd also like to see the Noah's Ark exhibit in Kentucky, The Alamo in San Antonio, and walk The Freedom Trail in Boston. And maybe some other places in-between :-) .

I have an unwritten bucket list. Sitting down to write a book is on my list. I also would like to travel. I am currently teaching myself Czech, and I would like to visit the castles in the Czech Republic someday.

1.  I would love to see Washington State & Oregon.  Also visit Yellowstone Natl. Park.  The other big thing on my bucket list would be to visit my soon-to-be great granddaughter in Upper State NY.  She is due in April.  However, one of the biggest thing on my bucket list is to visit the Library of Congress.  That would be amazing.  First three are seeing God's creations, the second is being around all those books at once.

Not really a bucket list.... but, I would love to see all of the states. There are only 5 or 6 that I haven't been to yet. :)

On my bucket list is to visit Mt. Rushmore and the Grand Canyon.

I am reading Giving It All Away and Getting It Back b y David Green  and For Love or Country by Jennifer Hudson Taylor.
