ABOUT AUTHOR: I'm the creator and publisher of the best-selling Hot Apple Cider books, and the author of the award-winning The Circle of Friends YA series and the standalone novel, In Time of Trouble.

Whether I'm writing or speaking, the stories I tell have heart, soul, and satisfying endings.

In past lives, I've been a high school Teacher of the Year, a homeschooler, part of several church planting teams, a youth leader, a CE Director, a church planter, a small group leader, and founder and executive director of a national writers group.

I've been speaking to groups of all sizes since I was in my early twenties. A few of my favourite themes are hope, creativity, leadership, and making disciples.

I've also been teaching writers since 1992 and have a website dedicated to that.

Mostly, I love seeing people grow, do what they love, and live joy-filled, meaningful lives.

I'm a member of the Writers Union of Canada, Sisters in Crime, Crime Writers of Canada, Advanced Writers and Speakers Association, and The Word Guild.

My hobbies include reading; listening to music (esp. country); watching baseball, basketball, curling, and ultimate frisbee; and doing jigsaw puzzles.

I live in the Greater Toronto (Canada) area.

I look forward to all my family gathering together and being together for a few days. We have 5 adult children with 10 grandkids so the house gets pretty crowded and noisy but I love it!

1. I love the book, "The Christmas Miracle of Jonathan Toomey." As an added bonus, when I looked up the book, I noticed that there is a DVD out with a movie based on the book. I may have to place an order!

1. The story of Jesus's birth is my favorite. I also love The Christmas Jars by Jason Wright. It is fiction but it has a wonderful message and I read it every year. Richard Paul Evans usually has a new novel each November and they often have Christmas themes so I enjoy them.
I would love to read and review this book. I prefer pbk. but I can do eBook. Thank you!

I look forward to Hallmark Christmas Movies. My mom and I are addicted to Hallmark.

Just wanted to mention that we're having a Facebook event to launch this book (Christmas with Hot Apple Cider) next Wed. and Thurs. at should anyone be interested in joining us. Various writers will be hosting and there will be games and prizes.
