I think this comment by Brad Taylor is dead on! "At his press conference, Obama stated that, while many decried the deal, none had offered an alternative – specifically meaning an alternative to Iran getting the bomb. That’s the wrong question. What should have been asked was, “What does Iran want, and how can they best achieve it?” I will submit that it wants to continue doing exactly what it has in the past: To impose its will in the Middle East."

At times it seems like our administration actually plays right into the opposition's hand...

I recently helped my daughter as they PCSed (Permanent Change of Station) from Japan back to the states and onto Fort Hood, Texas. It was quite an adventure and after helping them with a couple of cross country moves now I have to say I have such an amazing respect for military wives who have it all fall on them! My hat it off! Check out our adventure:

“Explosive Ordinance Disposal-man” a very dangerous job in the military. These men often accompany SEALs on missions ( The Bin Laden Operation was one ) They are part of the 1% of the population that protects this country. This was sent to me by a former SEAL who I have interviewed previously for CN Salutes. He did not give me this soldier’s name, but ask me to share this very special pictorial of love and sacrifice. I salute and thank this EOD Solider for his service and sacrifice! Must see love story! CN CALUTES

I hope all of you were able to see the interview with Lisa Johnson in my Strong Women series. When we ask for strength it is amazing to me how the more strength God gives us the more we can do. Lisa is a shining example of this. Please check out this inspiring interview.

Amen to that! The one thing we should all be striving for, yet more often than not we try own way first and then go to God as an afterthought. There is real strength in going to God first.

This next week I am beginning a series on strong women in my personal blog "Let's Talk" on my website, which I will also be sharing here. What is your idea of a strong woman? I am attaching a clip about a woman who survived Hitler. A true example of teaching others after experiencing the worst and living through it!

What was the last military movie, book or TV program you watched and liked? I discovered The Boy In The Stripped Pajamas a couple of years ago. It is about two young boys who become friends During World War II by only seeing each other through a Concentration Camp  fence. A very powerful movie and I'm sure a better book. A story about how the power friendship can trump war.
