ABOUT BOOK: In the not too distant future…

Wars, plagues, and famines ravage the world, immorality and violence are rampant, and the Bible is outlawed.

Angelica Smoke, a single mother and cocktail waitress, ascends the steps of a megachurch to deliver a message from God to the one man she hoped to never see again.

That message thrusts world-famous pastor Daniel Cain into a whirlwind of confusion, causing him to seek out Angelica and demand an explanation. But the woman broke his heart once and is now involved in a fanatical cult. Even being seen with her could damage his career. Still, he cannot stay away, and the more time he spends with her, the more he begins to doubt everything he believes.

Angelica is a seer. God grants her visions of the future, but she has no idea what to do with them. Her top priority is protecting her son—from the world, the culture, the devil, and especially from Daniel. But God keeps throwing them together, causing her fears to rise and reopening old wounds that threaten to tear her soul apart.

Angels watch over the couple, protecting and hoping they will make the right choices. But the angels are limited in what they can do as the end of the age comes to a close and the spiritual battles intensify, not only for Angelica and Daniel, but for all humanity.

ABOUT AUTHOR: Award-winning and best-selling author, MaryLu Tyndall dreamt of pirates and sea-faring adventures during her childhood days on Florida's Coast. After obtaining a degree in Math and working as software engineer for 15 years, she decided to test the waters as a writer. With now more than seventeen books published, she makes no excuses for the deeply spiritual themes embedded within her romantic adventures. As a follower of Christ, her stories often reflect her own journey and walk with God. Her hope is that readers will not only be entertained but will be brought closer to the Creator who loves them beyond measure. In a culture that accepts the occult, wizards, zombies, and vampires without batting an eye, MaryLu hopes to show the awesome present and powerful acts of God in a dying world. MaryLu makes her home with her husband, six children, two grandkids, and three cats on the California coast, where her imagination still surges with the sea.

Thanks, Victoria... as I told Carrie below.. you might be surprised at how fun my pirate stories are.

I LOVE the Adventure in your stories MaryLu. Each of your novels is unique and every story challenges my faith and I feel the agony and/or triumphant resolve of your characters. I love the way you put the reader in the middle of the action and I feel like I'm walking in their shoes facing some of their struggles.  I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Any of MaryLu's books to read for pleasure and/or recommend to your book club. The stories stay with you long after you close the book. I think many of them would make great movies!

This sounds intriguing. I have not read any pirate stories that i can remember. It seems like i may have read one as a child, however.

Carrie, you might find my pirate series quite different from what you may remember. ;-)  They are all Christians.. well, most of them.

I have a copy of Charity's Cross!! lol. I think I won it at a FB party or something. It kind of fot lost in a pile of TBR for reviews. I am reading it now. :)

Love the Cover I haven't seen this one before. I'll have to check it out!

I hope you enjoy it, Carrie!  :-)

3. I have read older romance novels featuring pirates and the thing I like the most is where they land, what they see and do and just all the new adventures.

Book sound great, can't wait to read it, thanks for the chance,

Welcome, Julie!

I read and loved Tears of the Sea! MaryLu's pirate stories are on my TBR!

I recently read She Walks in Power by MaryLu.  I like MaryLu's books because they have strong leading characters. The female lead was a Robin-Hood type character and the male was a knight on a mission from the king. It's a quest to obtain the spear that stabbed Christ. There is action adventure and a serious look at the power of being able to read the bible for yourself. I didn't expect there to be so much inside this 322-page novel. Wow, Loved it.  I'm looking forward to reading this one.

Thanks so much, Nora!
