BOOK BLURB: Fifteen-year-old Kari Rose discovers how much trouble she and her two sisters can get into when they stay at their ancient granny's for spring break. Granny gets a wild-haired notion at three in the morning, and she’s leaving with or without them. Kari makes the decision to take her sisters and ride with Granny in her old Cadillac on a five-hundred-mile-long trip north to visit family. Miles down the road, this harmless act finds Granny no longer able to drive, and Kari must take the wheel. Soon after, the four travelers are caught in a freeway-closing-down snowstorm which brings everyone and everything to a standstill.

A second blizzard with catastrophic impact is about to descend upon them, and Kari must determine the best way to find shelter and beat the storm. Will Kari trust her gut instincts and rely upon a complete stranger to lead them to safety?

1. My dad, who moved to heaven on April 27 of this year. The night would be me asking questions.....truly getting to know my dad.

Hi Jean Ann,

If I were to live to be 100 one experience I would never get tired of is not only reading wonderful stories by fantastic authors, but reaching out to them and developing a friendship even though it may only be via email means more to me than I can put into words.  Thank you so much for continuing to share your gift of storytelling.

Many Blessings,

Thank you, Adriann!

If I live to be 100, the experience that I never get tired of is Reading.

Reading can take you places you've never been, experienced things you will never do, and see ideas from  a different perspective than yours.

Thanks for entering me in your giveaway.

This is so true Janet.  I am disabled and live vicariously through many of the books I read.

If I live to be 100 years old I would never get tired of the experience of singing praises to God.

It would be my son, Joshua. We would get an order to go of his and my favorite restaurant and eat, talk, and hug. He would assure me he's okay. I would tell him I miss him too much for words. Sniff, sniff.

Hi everyone, thank you so much for dropping by for the drawing and entering your thoughts. I love to read them all every time. We've been in a major move and for 5 weeks we had no Internet. Our phones no longer worked well, either. Yesterday we received our new phones and we have Internet! Yea!

I look forward to seeing who is the winner this month!

Wow!  5 weeks to be cut off from the world these days can feel like an eternity.  Glad to hear you have been reconnected, and hope you enjoy your new home,

If I lived to be a hundred, I would never tire of reading.  I have loved reading books since I was taught to read.  I look forward to finding new authors and genres.  I even became a book review and blogger because I love books and want to help others find new books to enjoy.

I've sent your contact information to the author.

THANKS for helping make TBCN the Book Fun Place to Be!
