GIVEAWAY EVENT - Kicks off at

"Live" Chat NOVEMBER at 8 PM

 Eastern Standard Time

ABOUT BOOK:  "Not enough" is the theme of our day. Fear, scarcity, and inequality dominate the media cycle and are constant companions in our culture. While 74 percent of Americans believe in God, we can feel our world changing in ways that simply seem out of control. We want to cling to a sovereign and loving God who tells us repeatedly in Scripture to "fear not," yet it is estimated that nearly 90 percent of his followers have a scarcity mentality rooted in fear.

Five times in Scripture, Jesus showed us a pattern to deal with fear and how to access his abundant provision, both spiritually and practically. In The God Guarantee, Jack Alexander uncovers the four steps in this pattern, showing readers how to live it out in order to experience true abundance. Far from a prosperity gospel, this book is not about how to get rich quick, how to manage your money, or how to give it all away. Instead, it will change the reader's conversations about finances completely and, as a result, will transform the way they see and access God's provision in every single area of their lives.

I especially like Snickerdoodles, but I have not baked them. Please enter me into the drawing. Thank you.

I make several different items this time of year.  One is homemade peanut brittle (can also be made with cashews).  It is delicious.  I can pecan snowballs (some people call them wedding cookies).  They were my father's favorite and my daughter loves them.  Peanut Butter Blossoms are another family favorite.  My mother has had the recipe since the 1970s.  I only make these goodies during the holidays.  I never participated in a cookie exchange.

I have never participated in a cookie exchange. I like different kinds of cookies that do not include chocolate unless it is white chocolate.

3. I like to make Puppy Chow, a chex mix treat and oreo cookie fudge around the holidays. It's non traditional I suppose but it's what my boys look forward to :D

I make a cookie that is like a butterscotch cookie but I call grandmas cookies. I got the recipe from her. They are my favorite cookie.
I love peanut butter cookies with kisses in the middle. My favorite cookie to make is a snickerdoodle because they are easy to make and I am no chef!
My library offers many programs during the year. In the next month Santa Claus will visit and be available for pictures and the annual Christmas tea will be held in mid December for patrons to come and enjoy refreshments. Please enter my name in the drawing for the Kindle. Thank you.

During our community's annual evening "Merriment on Main" event, the downtown library has a special musical presentation in it conference room.

Our library is very small and rural. They do have a visit from Santa and special story times for the children, but nothing very special.

2. Have in the past and I would make a holiday special, spritz using a hand gun to pop out the cookies. I'd also put sprinkles on them prior to cooking so i'd not have to frost them later to make the sprinkles stick.

Please enter my name for the book and kindle, thanks
Julie
