FINDING HOPE BOOK CLUB

The Finding Hope Book Club (Sugar Hill Chapter) is meeting at Sugar Hill Church on Hwy 20 in Sugar Hill GA. This chapter is run by Ginger Aster, Ane Mullign and Betsy Schaknowski. Nora had to give up something in her overwhelming schedule and the Christian Book Store where we met had downsized...literally...they had remodeled and lost a lot of space! The members of this book club actually started 3 other clubs/chapters that meet on different nights in different locations. Nora left a large hole and big shoes to fill. She did an incredible job managing this book club and I know I don't hold a candle to how she managed it.

We remain a casual atmosphere and a safe place for women to share. The rules remain the same: Respect others, let everyone have a turn sharing, and what happens in book club stays in book club (like Vegas!)

THANK YOU NORA!!!! You put in many years following God's call and I appreciate it more than I can say.

I love you and pray for God's blessings on you.

Ginger

THANKS GINGER! I MISS YOU ALL!!

Miss you guys!!!  Wish I was there with you for Monday nights!  Perhaps soon I'll be out of the wheelchair and driving and back at the club.  I need to get a list of the books you have read this year  - can someone e-mail me one?

Hello, I just joined this book-club and wanted to introduce myself and my book. My name is Yvonne Jones author of A Time To Heal The Struggles Of A Battered Woman. My story is about my last marriage that was very abusive and resulted in the death of my son. I wanted to join this club because my story offers hope to anyone who is, or has been involved in an abusive relationship, anyone looking for a mate, anyone who has lost loved ones or has even been in prison. It covers a wide range of problems and struggles, yet tells how Jesus who is our only hope carried me through the greatest tragedy in my life and has now given me the opportunity to share my story with others. http://www.tatepublishing.com/bookstore/book.php?w=9781617396175

Looking forward to meeting Bonnie Calhoun at our book club meeting.  I have read her book, COOKING THE BOOKS.  Presently, I am reading SUBMERGED.  In the meantime I have read 3 other books which were great mysteries.  Looking forward our next book club meeting.
