I have used it ... however, the best results I have seen are with a word document uploaded to Kindle or a PDF with the TextBook Creator, uploaded to Kindle
If you are going to do html, which is what an eBook is... then Sigil is the way to go... but ePubs are on the way out
Hi Fred. Thanks for responding. Yes, I've done it several ways before in the past, but I decided to use Sigil this time because I knew my manuscript was top heavy with bad html. Plus, I'd used Sigil in the past on a limited basis. My question here was to see if anyone Sigil-wise had ever had a problem with blank pages shadowing their internal cover image. My file is ready to upload, but when I convert it to mobi using the downloaded Kindle Previewer, it has blank pages between the cover and the books front material. Not a major problem, but after spending several weeks preparing my 400 page book, I just wanted to get ALL the kinks out.
