ABOUT BOOK: A stunning story of Holy Week through the eyes of a Roman Centurion

See the triumphal entry of the donkey-riding king through the eyes of Marcus Longinus, the centurion charged with keeping the streets from erupting into open rebellion.

Go behind the scenes at the political plotting of King Herod, known as a scheming Fox for his ruthless shrewdness.

Witness the confrontation between the Jewish high priest Caiaphas and the Roman governor Pontius Pilate.

Understand as never before the horror of the decision to save a brutal terrorist in order to condemn the peaceful Jew to death.

If you’ve heard the story of Passion Week so often it’s become stale, now is the time to rediscover the terrible events leading from Jesus’s humble ride into the city to his crucifixion. The Soldier Who Killed a King will astonish

you afresh with how completely Christ’s resurrection changed history, one life at a time.

We moved here to be closer to our grandchildren so are truly looking forward to being able to share the holiday with them!

Being close to grandchildren is a great motivation for a move. I'm still looking forward to the joy of grandchildren.

My immediate family is down to just me as my Dad recently passed.  I will probably spend Easter with my extended family or my church family.  If I have time, I will probably make bulka (bobka to some) for my family to have at Easter.

My dog, Doozy's antics make me laugh.  His name says it all.  I never know what Doozy will do next.  He is driven by food.

3. I enjoy celebrating Passover by attending a Seder.

Hi Caryl. A copy of The Soldier Who Killed a King is now in the mail for you. It may take a week or two to arrive since it is coming from Canada. I welcome any feedback you may have.

3. My husband and I begin Easter by attending Easter Sunrise services and  our daughter and granddaughter join us at church services later. Sometimes we go out for lunch and sometimes I cook at home. We do hunt eggs for my 5 year old granddaughter but we make sure that Jesus's Resurrection is our primary focus.

My family is grown but I do have two young grandchildren. After church and a meal we hide eggs for them. But the real fun begins when the kids get to hide them for the parents and aunts and uncles.

And I have pictures to prove it! LOL

I love getting together with family at Easter--such a special time of year celebrating Christ's resurrection.
