BACK COVER: In Letters to Her, Jennifer Imediegwu delivers eight heartfelt powerful letters with an overarching message that God has a divine plan for your life and that plan is revealed through your vertical relationship with Him. It is lived out through your horizontal relationships with others, for the ultimate purpose to glorify Him. Jennifer takes you on a journey in deepening your relationship with God, discovering your calling, and discerning how God uses your relationships to impact and facilitate your God-sized destiny. In light of your vertical relationship with God, Letters to Her takes you front and center to the issues that can hinder you most, including dysfunctional family relationships and unhealthy dating practices. She then shows you how your life can be reclaimed and restored at the foot of the Cross. Through dynamic biblical examples, Jennifer illuminates how godly friendships, mentoring relationships, and a marital relationship built on biblical principles are fundamental in having a robust successful life. Letters to Her will inspire and motivate you to fall in love with Jesus, maximize your potential, and achieve greatness in every aspect of your life for God’s Glory.

ABOUT AUTHOR: Jennifer Imediegwu is a wife and mom, who also enjoys a robust professional life as an Estate Planning and Elder Law Attorney in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. A native of Detroit, Jennifer graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Policy with a policy concentration in Education from the Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy at University of Michigan-Ann Arbor. She went on to receive her Juris Doctorate from University of Tennessee College of Law in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Jennifer met her husband, Chino Imediegwu, an Engineering and Business Leader, in 2006 at a bookstore in Ann Arbor, Michigan, near U of M’s campus. What many would consider a complete chance meeting, Jennifer and Chino recognized very quickly that it was a divine appointment orchestrated by God. They began their journey as husband and wife on June 14, 2008, and after ten years of marriage, while having three amazing sons along the way and building busy robust careers, Jennifer and Chino recognize more than ever that “Unless the Lord builds the house, we labor in vain.” (Psalms 127:1).

While Jennifer is passionate about working with individuals and families to achieve their estate planning goals, her greatest desire is to be the woman God is calling her to be and equip and encourage other women to do the same. The lessons she shares in Letters to Her are derived from her own personal journey of faith, family, and love with God’s amazing grace through it all.

When Jennifer is not busy with family and work, she enjoys reading, travel, and cooking new dishes! Jennifer is a member of the Elder Law Section of the State Bar of Wisconsin, The Association of Women Lawyers (AWL), The Wisconsin Association of African American Attorneys (WAAL), and the Milwaukee Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Incorporated. She and her family are active members of Life Church in German-town, Wisconsin, where she is actively engaged in the women’s and children’s ministries.

My website is now live www.exceptional-living.org

You can find my business Facebook page link on my website which is now live too.

Lastly, the kindle version of my book is now available for sale and readers don’t have to wait for the paperback release date of January 1.

I thought I'd take a few questions from Jennifer's new devotional for you all to answer - Things to ponder

1. Was your mom a nurturer, manager of the home, and help meet to your dad? How did she fulfill this role or not, and how do you think this impacted your life?

2. Winston Churchill is quoted as saying, "Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts."

What does that mean to you?

3. What sort of messaging are you bombarded with via the television, internet, and social media? How do you deal with them?

4. Do you read from a devotional? Why or why not? If so, What kinds of things do you look for in a devotional?

I love devotionals.  I read my chapters in the Bible every day and then a chapter out of a devotional that God leads me too.  Love it and wouldn't want to change.  It has helped me grow so much as a Christ follower.

Thank you for this opportunity to win her book and a chance at the snowman quilt.

in Him,

Cheri :)

Hi Cheri!

I think that is awesome! Devotionals have always been important to my spiritual growth as well. There is something powerful about spending time with God on a consistent basis!

Thanks for stopping by and entering to win!

Warm Regards,

I do read from a devotional .I look for one grounded in scriptures that can also relate to daily experiences. I like to start my day with my mind on my Lord .

Hi Cathy!

I agree with you! A practical devotional goes a long way! A fresh perspective of Jesus daily truly blesses the day! :-)

Merry Christmas!

Warm Regards,

#1. I love that we all have free will. The families that we're born into can give us some great examples of how to live out the Christian life, or they can show us where we can improve from generation to generation. I didn't grow up in a Christian home, but my experiences growing up were generally positive. I definitely saw my mom's dedication to my dad and her sisters' dedication to their husbands, and I rebelled against that as I sought independence and a strong (although misguided?) sense of what women can do and who they should and shouldn't rely upon. God has allowed me to see that trusting in Him and relying on Him is the best thing in life...no matter the choices that others make in life, and how those choices affect us.

Greetings Becky!

We are bombarded with so much messaging from popular culture that we absolutely have to be intentional about feeding ourselves the Word of God and CHOOSING to live it out daily. Not always easy- but always worth it!

You have a great testimony! May God continue to bless your journey!

Merry Christmas!

I love devotionals that are not complicated and have questions to answer and scriptures to look up.also please enter me in the drawing for the quilt.

Yes indeed! simple to digest and apply is priceless!

Blessings to you!

I am so thankful "failure is not fatal."  I think failire in one area can actually be the springboard that launches you to success in another!

Amen! So true!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

1. Was your mom a nurturer, manager of the home, and help meet to your dad? How did she fulfill this role or not, and how do you think this impacted your life?

My mom was all of those things. Family was the focus of her love and of her energy. She was always there for me, and loved me and encouraged me in all that I did. She also took me to church and read the Bible and prayed with me. She impacted my life in too many ways to list!

Behavior modeling is so powerful. It is more impactful than words. We often learn by what we see others do. You are blessed to have such a godly mother in your life! A godly legacy speaks for generations!

Have a blessed holiday season and a beautiful new year!
