To Follow Her Heart

To Follow Her Heart by Rebecca DeMarino is the third and final book in the Southold Chronicles. The story loosely follows the history of the author's family as they settled Long Island in the 1600's. This novel focuses on Patience Terry and her longing to marry Jeremy Horton sea captain. I love the way Ms. DeMarino brings history to life. Her love of history is quite evident in all of the small details and I really enjoyed the recipes she included. I also enjoyed the scripture that she used…See More

Review of Sarah Ladd's Headmistress of Rosemere

Posted on January 18, 2014 at 10:24pm 0 Comments

I really enjoyed The Headmistress of Rosemere. It is a very enging tale of G-d's faithfulness. Patience Crieghten's father has recently died leaving her mother prostrate with grief. Her brother Rawden departed for London 6 months ago and no one has heard from him since. Now Patience a 25 year old spinster is running her families girl school and believes that this is G-d's will for her life.

William Sterling the owner of Rosemere and also nearby Eastmore, has made his…

2012 is going to be a great BOOK FUN YEAR!! We are going to have more book giveaways, you’ll get to know more authors. Bethany house and B & H have some great featured authors this year and so does the group here called CAN (Christian Authors Network)
Check out the Book Club Pages. We have review sites, Book stores have put up pages, some of them are in the process of starting a book club, it just might be in your area. This is not a site you need to be on every day, but just check out parts of it when you can.

I LOVE Book club. I’m passionate about getting the word out about Christian authors and their books to book clubs. I think this could be a great for them to meet for each to learn from the other; authors from book clubs and book clubs from authors, I’ve seen that so far. It’s been fun to watch. We’ll see where the Lord leads us in 2012. We have many exciting opportunities lined up just for you. Book Clubs are about relationships with each other and with authors. It’s a win win!

Blessings to you
Nora
