I agree with you, Jessica, there is something about British humor that I just love. As a Brit that's one of the things I try to really incorporate into my novels. Have any of you ever read the famous MM Kaye novels?

Yay, I'm glad you joined Lynda!

I just started a children's book called Sticks, Stones and Dragon Bones. I believe the writer is British, if not, her humor is.

Hi Lynda, glad to see you joined. As a group we've been so quiet lately. How about we start up again. So what good British Lit book have some of you enjoyed lately?   I haven't read any Jane Marple lately but I sure do watch the TV shows on BBC.

Thanks for the add!  I love Jane Eyre, and Jane Austen, but haven't read any Jane Marple (can I still come?).  I think I've found my heart group.  :)

Blessings back! I'm soon as I'm off deadline, I'll check both of you out!

It's amazing to hear how similar all our lives are as writers. As a writer, I too, hold down 2 part-time jobs, etc, etc, etc.  LOL  Blessings on you both.

Yes, it's hard, isn't it? Finding time to write is next to impossible.

Lynne, I feel your pain! I work overnight, twelve hour shifts, plus write, while being a single-mom.

Hm, well considering how busy I am working three jobs while trying to be a writer and look after a family maybe I should put it off for a while.
