I have been to the rodeo lots of time. It's a big deal here in Houston. I love the barrel racing the most. Of course there are also the beautiful animals to see.

Hi Everyone,

I can't believe it's already going to be Friday tomorrow. It's been a busy week for me, which started with my first live chat where I first met quite a few of you. I drew a name for my book Love Finds You in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin and got eb copies of Second Chance Love out to quite a few of you. If you asked for one and haven't received it please let me know. You should have an email from Amazon in your mailbox announcing the gift.

Did you have a warmer-than-usual-for-February week? I live in the Chicago area and it was definitely much warmer than normal until today when a cold front went through.

I've been busy working on getting the word out to people about Second Chance Love. The rodeo it is set at is one I've attended for over ten years every Labor Day Weekend. I've wanted to set a story there for a long while and a couple years ago I began working on SCL. I'm very happy with the results and I hope if you read it, you will be too.

Have you ever been to a rodeo? If so, what is your favorite event? I love the bull riding (my hero, Jace McGowan, is a bull rider), but I also like barrel racing. The only even women compete in--most of the time. I've seen a woman bull rider once or twice. But, it's mostly a guy's sport.

Good morning! I had a blast at last night's monthly chat. It was a new experience for me and I'm so grateful so many of you signed up for my author page. I look forward to getting to know you and will work hard at keeping y'all up to date on my writing etc.

Have a great Tuesday!

Hi all,
Thanks to those who have already started to follow me. I'm a newbie here and for some reason wasn't getting notifications that I had people comments on my wall.

I'm looking forward to the chat on Monday night and hope y'all will be there. Remember there are prizes to be won, including a copy of my Love Finds You in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. Lake Geneva is my hometown and the story is very special to me.

I'm hoping to get people signing on to get a free Kindle book of Second Chance Love, my newest book, for review. The tag line is: Can a city girl and a bull-riding rancher give themselves a second chance at love? It's set at a real rodeo in southern Illinois I attend every Labor Day weekend. What's better than romance, rodeo and cowboys. LOL.

These both sound really good.

I'm excited to join the Book Club Network and hope to introduce my stories to new readers here. My most recent story, Second Chance Love, released January 24, 2017. It's a rodeo romance set at a rodeo I attend every Labor Day weekend in downstate Illinois. I love rodeos and cowboys and who doesn't like inspirational romance, especially on Valentine's week?

I'm giving away a copy of another of my books. Love Finds You in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, on Monday night during the live chat. It is set in my hometown and takes place in 1933. I had so much fun writing that story and learning facts about my hometown that I never knew. I hope you come to the chat on Feb. 20th and sign up for a chance to win the book!
