ABOUT BOOK: In the not too distant future…
Wars, plagues, and famines ravage the world, immorality and violence are rampant, and the Bible is outlawed.
Angelica Smoke, a single mother and cocktail waitress, ascends the steps of a megachurch to deliver a message from God to the one man she hoped to never see again.
That message thrusts world-famous pastor Daniel Cain into a whirlwind of confusion, causing him to seek out Angelica and demand an explanation. But the woman broke his heart once and is now involved in a fanatical cult. Even being seen with her could damage his career. Still, he cannot stay away, and the more time he spends with her, the more he begins to doubt everything he believes.
Angelica is a seer. God grants her visions of the future, but she has no idea what to do with them. Her top priority is protecting her son—from the world, the culture, the devil, and especially from Daniel. But God keeps throwing them together, causing her fears to rise and reopening old wounds that threaten to tear her soul apart.
Angels watch over the couple, protecting and hoping they will make the right choices. But the angels are limited in what they can do as the end of the age comes to a close and the spiritual battles intensify, not only for Angelica and Daniel, but for all humanity.
ABOUT AUTHOR: Award-winning and best-selling author, MaryLu Tyndall dreamt of pirates and sea-faring adventures during her childhood days on Florida's Coast. After obtaining a degree in Math and working as software engineer for 15 years, she decided to test the waters as a writer. With now more than seventeen books published, she makes no excuses for the deeply spiritual themes embedded within her romantic adventures. As a follower of Christ, her stories often reflect her own journey and walk with God. Her hope is that readers will not only be entertained but will be brought closer to the Creator who loves them beyond measure. In a culture that accepts the occult, wizards, zombies, and vampires without batting an eye, MaryLu hopes to show the awesome present and powerful acts of God in a dying world. MaryLu makes her home with her husband, six children, two grandkids, and three cats on the California coast, where her imagination still surges with the sea.

Thank you, Dana!! History is really fascinating. We could learn much from studying it
Some of MaryLu's stories adventures take place at sea too! There is one series I read that takes you to an exotic Island in Brazil. People have come to build a new colony and they run into some unexpected trouble. that messes with their Utophia type settlement. Here are the covers in the series. This is just one of the many exciting adventures I've gone on with Marylu! We read the first novel for book club. It was a Great discussion. There was so much to talk about.
I have never read any pirate books. I'm not sure they are what I would choose. Please enter me in the drawing for a chance to read and review this book.
Thanks, Victoria... as I told Carrie below.. you might be surprised at how fun my pirate stories are.
I LOVE the Adventure in your stories MaryLu. Each of your novels is unique and every story challenges my faith and I feel the agony and/or triumphant resolve of your characters. I love the way you put the reader in the middle of the action and I feel like I'm walking in their shoes facing some of their struggles. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Any of MaryLu's books to read for pleasure and/or recommend to your book club. The stories stay with you long after you close the book. I think many of them would make great movies!
Carrie, you might find my pirate series quite different from what you may remember. ;-) They are all Christians.. well, most of them.
